The City of El Centro has issued new outdoor water restrictions for residents.

Because of the statewide water shortage, El Centro residents are restricted to three-day a week outdoor watering. If you live west of 8th Street your watering days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. East of 8th Street watering days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The restrictions do not apply to the watering of trees or drip irrigation systems.
