(The Chamber in Brawley recently hosted the Branding Iron Gala)....Several awards were presented at the Gala.
It has already been reported that the Branding Iron Recipient for 20222 was Coni Stokley, for her commitment to the community. Also announced was Marty Coyne, receiving the business award for his Latigo Ranch development. Those, however, were not the only award recipients. The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Brawley added a new category this year. It is the Non-Profit of the year award. During the event at the Stockman's Club in Brawley, the new Non-Profit award went to B.E.S.T. Step Forward. The plaque was presented to CEO Jacqueline Riddell. The top three also received certificates of recognition from Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia and State Senator Ben Hueso. The Chamber also recognized three of their Ambassadors, Tony and Patricia Ojeda, and David Canez, who was presented with the CEO Recognition of Appreciation.
