The vote for the U.S. 25th Congressional District appears to be settled.

Raul Ruiz has better than 50% of the vote in both Imperial and Riverside County. The 36th Assembly District race is still up in the air. Incumbent Eduardo Garcia leads in Imperial County but trails challenger Ian Weeks in Riverside County where most of the voters reside. The latest numbers indicate there will be a November runoff between the two. In Imperial County, Garcia has 9,824 votes to Weeks 6,440. In Riverside County, Weeks has 17,216 votes to Garcia's 16,420. There are still votes to be counted in both counties.
