The Imperial County Pub Health Department says the number of active COVID-19 cases in the county has jumped.

According to the report issued on Tuesday, June 14, there are now 571 active cases of the coronavirus in Imperial County. That's an increase of 157 over the 414 reported last Thursday. The number of deaths attributed to the virus remains at 938. The latest metrics show that there are 23.2 new cases per day er 100,000 population. Testing shows a 13.78 percent positivity rate.
