(Abandoned residence burns in Ocotillo)....The three alarm fire was reported this week.

Thye fire was reported in the 1100 block of Seminole Road in Ocotillo. County Fire first responded to the fire. A request for assistance brought in crews from NAF, Centinela State Prison, El Centro, Holtville and Cal Fire out of Jacumba. The abandoned structure was completely destroyed, but crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to other homes. The cause of the fire is being investigated as suspicious.
