(Previously deported sex offender tries to re-enter the US)....Border Patrol agents arrested the individual early Sunday morning.

The agents encountered the individual  east of the Calexico Downtown Port. It was determined the individual had entered the country illegally. He was arrested and transported to El Centro for processing. A records check revealed a criminal and immigration history. They found the individual had served jail time for a sexual offense. The individual had had been ordered deported by an Immigration Judge. Since October, El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents have arrested or removed 14 individuals either convicted or wanted on sexual offense charges
