(It is that time of year)....Time to nominate a Hometown Hero.

The American Red Cross of San Diego and Imperial Counties will be hosting the 23rd Annual Real Heroes Awards. They are looking for ordinary people who have gone above and beyond, and organizations that are making a difference in their community. Awards will be presented in 8 categories; Animal Welfare Hero, Corporate Hero, Disaster Services Hero, First responder Hero, Gift of Life Hero, Good Samaritan Hero, Service to Armed Forces Hero and Youth Hero. This year's award recipients will be honored during an awards event and Breakfast on Friday September 26th aboard the USS Midway Museum.
