Imperial County has received A $4.4 million grant to assist families and individuals impacted by the June 2021 in Niland.

The fire devastated the north end community with extensive loss of homes. The grant, in Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus Response Colonias Set-Aside funding, will be available to assist owner occupied income eligible families to replace homes lost to the fire. The grant application was completed and submitted by the Imperial County Executive Office.
