Two people are in custody after they were found with approximately 19 pounds of methamphetamine.

An  El Centro police officer made a traffic stop after observing a pick up truck fail to yield the right of way at Highway 111 and Heber Road. After a K-9 alerted to the truck a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of the meth. The two individuals in the truck were arrested and charged with transportation of a controlled Substance.
