Early voting will also begin May 9th at the Elections Office at 940 Main Street in El Centro, on the second floor. The local Candidate lists are complete. Running for County Supervisor-District One are Joong S. Kim, Incumbent Jesus Eduardo Escobar, and Briant Jesus Fabela Luna. The candidates for Board of Supervisor-District 5 are, incumbent Raymond R. Castillo, John Hawk and Carlos Zaragoza. Candidates for County Assessor are, incumbent Robert F. Menvielle and Ricardo Avila. Karina B. Alvarez is running unopposed for County Auditor/Controller. Candidates for Clerk/Recorder are incumbent Chuck Storey and Jacob Nicholas Rodriguez. Candidates for County District Attorney are, George Marquez, Jason Amavisca, Mario Vela and Edgard Garcia. The Candidates for County Sheriff are Hilton W. Smith and Fred S. Miramontes. Jonathon Todd Finnell is running unopposed for County Superintendent of Schools. Incumbent Poli Flores Jr. is running unopposed for Superior Court Judge-Seat 1. Incumbent Jeffery B. Jones and Kevin T. Merizalde Kelley are the candidates for Superior Court Judge-Seat 2. Suzanne C. Bermudez is the only candidate running for County Treasurer/Tax Collector. For Imperial Irrigation District Director-Division 1 the candidates are incumbent Alex Cardenas and Andrew Arevalo. For IID Director-Division 3 the candidates are Don C. Campbell, Ramon Castro, Gina Young Dockstader, and Maria Nava-Froelich. The candidates for IID Director-Division 5 are Karin Eugenio and incumbent Norma Sierra Galindo. Some communities will also decide measures on their ballots.
