(Active Cases of COVID 19)...New numbers were released Thursday morning.

The numbers are released by the County Public Health Department. According to the new numbers, there are currently 38 active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County. That is down from the 54 cases reported on Tuesday. Deaths attributed to the virus remain at 908. The number of variant cases are unchanged from the Tuesday report. The State Tier Metrics as of April 10th, indicate a positivity rate, 7 day average of 10.3%. New cases per day per 100,000 population, for the same period, is at 1.90. The Imperial County Vaccination rate is still at 95%, still the highest rate in the state.
