Maintenance crews will close all lanes of a section of State Route 78 Thursday.

The closure will involve the section from the east junction of State Route 111 to Western Avenue in Brawley. Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. crews will be engaging in multiple maintenance activities. According to Caltrans, the southbound Highway 111 on-ramp to westbound Highway 78 will also be closed. Detour signs will be posted.
