El Centro police arrested a man for possession of stolen property after he was stopped while driving a stolen SUV.

An automated License Plate Reader ( LPR ) reported the vehicle going northbound on Imperial Avenue at Adams Avenue at about 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The SUV was stopped just minutes later and the driver was arrested. He was then booked into Imperial County Jail on Felony Possession of Stolen Property charges.
