(There are 3 Classified Employees of the Year)....They were announced by the Imperial County Office of Education.

The 2022 Imperial County Classified Employees mof the year are; Gerardo Izaguirre from Calexico Unified School District, Sylvia Martinez from Calexico Unified School District, and Rene Piceno with the Brawley Union High School District. The OCOE says the Classified School Employees of the Year Award Program highlights the contributions of classified school employees who support the education of Imperial County's more than 36,000 public school students from kindergarten through grade 12. In addition to being named the annual Classified School Employees of the Year in Imperial County, each of them has been nominated by the ICOE to the California Department of Education to be considered for the statewide CSEY Award Program.
