They say individuals are being called and told they have a warrant that needs to be taken care of immediately. The caller tells the victim payment can be made over the phone. Sometimes the caller claims to be Deputy Jimmy Duran 843. Victims should hang up the phone. The call is a scam. The attempt should alsio be reported. They say Jimmy Duran used to work for the Sheriff's Office, but is now the Brawley Chief of Police.
