(Border Patrol agents rescue a lost individual)....It happened over the weekend.

The Border Patrol was contacted by the Imperial County Sheriff's Office. They requested assistance in locating a lost individual in the Jacumba Wilderness Region near Ocotillo. Agents in the area were notified and provided the last known coordinates. That same afternoon, agents located the individual about two miles north of the US/Mexico border. It was determined the individual did not need medical assisstance, and that he was in this country illegally. He was taken into custody and transported to El Centro for processing and additional medical evaluation.
