Local California Highway Patrol officers were kept busy all night Monday.
At about 9:46 p.m. an accident at McCabe Road and State Route 7 resulted in a vehicle in a canal. There were no injuries, but the vehicle had to be left in the canal until Tuesday morning. At about 2:15 a.m. an accident at Highway 86 and Austin Road resulted in the southbound lanes of the highway being closed for over an hour. There were injuries involved with at least one patient transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. An accident at Andre and Brandt Roads was reported at about 5:25 a.m. One vehicle ended up on it's roof. Injuries were reported. All accidents remain under investigation.
