(There will be a lot to do in April).....It all starts Saturday.

The 41st Annual Children's Fair will be held at Bucklin Park in El Centro. It starts at 10 am. The Lazy Lizard's Roadkill Cook-Off will also be held Saturday starting at 11 am. It will be held at the Lazy Lizard in Ocotillo On April 23rd, The El Centro Regional Medical Center Foundation hosts the 14th annual Mardi Gras Bal at the Old Eucalyptus Schoolhouse. April 23rd is also El Centro Day at Petco Park in San Diego. The Padres host the Dodgers. Check with the El Centro City Managers office for ticket availability. On April 29th, the SURE Helpline hosts Walk a Mile In Her Shoes, a Men's March against violence. It will be held at Bucklin Park. April 29th will also be the 69th annual Imperial County Farm Bureau Scholarship Barbecue at the Imperial Valley Food Bank on Aten Road. And on April 30th, it will be the 13th annual W C T Townsel Memorial Family Fishin' Fun Day at Sunbeam Lake. That event starts at 6:00 am
