(A different kind of Cook-Off)....It will be held Saturday.

It is the Roadkill Cook-Off. It is a Lazy Lizard event and it will be held at the Lazy Lizard at 1194 North Imperial Highway in Ocotillo. Entry forms and rules can be obtained at the Lazy Lizard Saloon. You can pick them up in person or you can call 760-358-7151. 1st and 2nd place prizes will be awarded. There will also be fun, food and more. The event will be held from 11:00 am until the Wheels Fall Off. The event is sponsored by Desert Volunteers of Ocotillo Optimist Club. 100% of the funds go to benefit the children and community of Ocotillo
