El Centro police are investigating a stabbing that occurred at about 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.

A woman was stabbed in the hand with a kitchen knife during an apparent domestic dispute. The woman took a taxi to El Centro Regional Medical Center where she was treated.  The suspect was booked into Imperial County Jail on charges of domestic violence.
