An Imperial Valle6y native now serves on the California Supreme Court.

Justice Patricia Guerrero was sworn in by Governor Gavin Newsom Monday afternoon in Sacramento. Justice Guerrero is an Imperial Valley native and a graduate of Imperial High School. She has served in private practice, as an Assistant U. S. Attorney, trial court judge and an appellate justice. Justice Guerrero will serve as the first Latina justice on the California Supreme Court bench.
