The City of Imperial has appointed a City Attorney.

At their meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, the Imperial City Council named Katherine Turner City Attorney beginning May 1, 2022. Ms. Turner is the current owned of local litigation firm, Sutherland and Gerber. Turner has also served as Imperial County Counsel. The appointment comes following the announcement that current City Attorney Geoff Holbrook has accepted a position as Associate General Counsel at the Imperial Irrigation District.
