Naval Air Facility El Centro ( NAFEC ) has created a website to answer questions about the upcoming Festival of Flight.

According to Kristopher Haugh, public affairs officer for the local base, " There area number well-intentioned people who have created events and web pages related to the 2022 Festival of Flight, " but the links created by NAFEC are the only official links to the event. The URL for the web sight is http://www.cnic.navy.mil/nafec_FestivalofFlight. There is also a Facebook Event page for social media users.

Th 2022 Festival of Flight is scheduled for Saturday, March 12, 2022. A low power radio broadcast is planned for people in the vicinity of the base so they can listen to the narration if they choose to watch the show off the base.
