A geothermal plant near Heber caught fire.

The fire at the geothermal facility on Pitzer Road was reported late Friday night and quickly accelerated to a fourth alarm. Heavy smoke was seen as firefighters fought the blaze well into the morning. Pitzer Road is closed between Jasper and Fawcet Roads. There are no reports yet as to the extent of damage. Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
