A tractor trailer rig flipped over Friday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the big rig flipped on it's side at about 12:30 p.m. on the northbound on-ramp from Orchard Road to westbound Interstate 8. According to the CHP, an estimated 75 gallons of diesel, coolant and motor oil spilled from the wreck creating a hazardous materials spill. The on-ramp was closed while the hazardous materials were cleared from the roadway. No injuries were reported.
