In their announcement, court officials said the decision to reopen the courts to the public was also due to the expiration of the mask mandate. The Superior Court will restore full public access to its buildings, courtrooms and public offices. On Wednesday the courts eliminated physical distancing and other restrictions. Appoinbtments for the Civil Clerk's Office, Access center and law library will not be required, but are encouraged as patrons with appointments will have priority over walk-ins. Some safety protocols will remain, such as COVID screening at court entrances, hand sanitizing stations, daily sanitizing court facilities, and any other measure to remain in compliance with all state and local COVID guidelines and mandates.
