(Active COVID cases down)...Updated numbers were released Thursday morning.

The numbers are provided by the County Public Health Department. According o the new numbers, active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County are now down from what was reported Tuesday. Active cases are now at 3,210, over 1,000 less than the 4,290 cases reported earlier his week. Deaths attributed to the virus remain a 845. There are 99 COVID positive patients hospitalized in the County, down from 102 reported Tuesday. 28 are in Intensive Care. There is one IC bed available in the county. 47 ventilators are in use countywide. The total numbers of vaccine doses administered in the county are now close to 392,000.
