(Convicted Felon arrested trying to re-enter the US)... Border Patrol agents working out of the Calexico Station found the suspect.

The person had entered the US illegally near the All American Canal, east of Calexico. The person was taken to the El Centro Station for processing. A records check revealed the person was a 32 year old Mexican national. It also revealed the person had a prior criminal and immigration history. The person had a previous conviction for a sexual offense and had been sentenced to 120 days in jail before being ordered removed from the Country by an immigration judge.. Since October 1st, El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents have arrested and/or removed 8 individuals either convicted or wanted on sexual offense charges.
