Karen Ross, the Secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture will be the keynote speaker at the AgTech Workforce Summit.

The summit will bring together farmers and education throughout the Imperial Valley and technology companies from throughout the world. The summit will be held at Imperial Valley College on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. The purpose is to cultivate an agricultural workforce equipped with the skills needed to navigate new on-farm technology. The AgTech Workforce Summit will include a showcase of agtech startups and panel discussions with community leaders. A number of ag companies, as well as local educators and venture capitalists will be in attendance. The Summit will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Imperial Valley College campus.
