. The California Department of Public Health originally issued an indoor masking requirement to end January 15. Because of the current COVID surge and prevalence of the Omicron Variant, that requirement has been extended. The indoor mask requirement is now in effect until February 15, until further notice. The requirements says all individuals, vaccinated or not, will wear a face covering while indoors at all public establishments.
