(Border Patrol Agents assists injured person)....It happened New Years Eve.

At around 11:20 in the morning the agent encountered the injured individual in the Imperial County Sand Dunes east of Calexico, near the US/Mexico border. As the agent approached the individual it was determined the individual was injured due to a fall from an All-Terrain Vehicle. Additional agents responded, conducted a wellfare check and determined the individual needed additional medical treatment. The El Centr Dispatch was notified and they requested Emergency Medical Services to the location. REACH EMS arrived and flew the inured individual to a hospital. No other information has been provided.
