The National Weather Service says we may be looking for a wet Christmas.
Off and on light showers are anticipated to begin later Thursday and trend down Sunday. Rain chances will peak on Friday. Rain totals for the Imperial Valley may be between 0.10 to .25 inches. The showers could linger through Monday. A slow moving Pacific weather system off the west coast is causing the unsettled weather pattern. Temperatures will remain in the mid-70's through Thursday and then cool down about 5 degrees through the weekend.
