(Ribbon Cutting Ceremony)....It will be held Tuesday afternoon.

The ceremony will mark the opening of the Interstat8/Imperial Avenue Interchange in El Centro. Caltrans in partnership with the Imperial County Transportation Commission, the City of El Centro and Imperial County will announce the opening o0f the Interchange with the ribbon cutting ceremony. It will mark the completion of the Interstate 8.Imperial Avenue Interchange Project. The ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm on the bridge deck of the Interchange. Attending the ceremony will be Caltrans District 11 Director Gustavo Dallarda, El Centro Mayor Tomas Oliva, ICTC Interim Executive Director David Aguirre, County Board of Supervisors Chairman Michael Kelley and District 2 County Supervisor Luis Plancarte.
