(Truck Burns)...It was reported at just after 6:30 Friday morning.

The rig was eastbound on Interstate 8, near Mountain Springs Road. The California Highway Patrol says the rig was just east of the Truck Escape Ramp. The initial report was that the rig was fully engulfed. County Fire responded to the scene. The driver was reportedly out of the rig and was not injured.
