(Two injured in roll-over)...It happened Tuesday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol says 18 year old Edward Israel Munoz living in Richmond, Texas was driving a 2004 Toyota on Dogwood Road at an unknown rate of speed. North of Carey Road, the vehicle went off the roadway to the right and subsequently overturned. In the process of overturning, the CHPO says the vehicle struck a utility pole The drivers suffered major injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, 19 year old Jose Luis Munoz Jr, suffered moderate injuries. Both were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center by REACH Air Ambulance. The Highway Patrol says impairment does not appear to have been a factor in the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
