The US GSA is advising the public to anticipate potential delays crossing into Mexicali due to higher than normal construction traffic activity at the Calexico West Port of Entry December 14 from 9 pm until 11 am December 15. The increased construction traffic is required to accommodate concrete deliveries for the port's modernization and expansion project. A route on less congested side roads will be used by the concrete trucks, but some delays will be inevitable. Construction flaggers will be in place to help direct traffic.
