A local motel reported that someone left a rifle behind when they checked out.

The motel management told El Centro Police that employees located a pillowcase full of magazines and ammunition. Also left behind was an AR-15 type rifle. There were 10 magazines and a total of 120 .223 caliber bullets as well as the rifle and some luggage. The police booked the items as found property.
