No votes are at 45.50% or 1,073 votes against. The Elections Department says these numbers are unofficially. Measure U is the extension of the Cities 4% Utility Tax, and a yes vote also is to make the tax permanent, with no sunset clause. City Officials say the tax has been used to help fund almost all services offered by the City.
