However , according to the National Weather Service ( NWS ) a large low pressure system is expected to track north of us early next week. This will bring breezy to windy conditions as early as Monday and a cool down on Tuesday. This also brings a chance of rain late Monday and into early Tuesday. Winds on Monday could reach as high as 30 mph and then start to diminish early Tuesday. Stronger winds and a higher chance of rain are possible in the mountains between San Diego and the Valley.Cooler and drier conditions will return late Tuesday into the weekend.
