(COVID 19 still a serious issue)...The pandemic continues.

Health officials are saying their are signs the pandemic is beginning to let up, but not enough to reduce precautions. In Imperial County there are currently 19 COVID 19 positive patients hospitalized countywide. 8 of those are in Intensive Care. The Public Health Department says the deat5hs attributed toi the virus are now at 758. They say protocols and mandates will remain in place until further notice. They say the vaccine is still the best tool to combat the pandemic. Currently there have been a total of 263,264 doses of COVID vaccine administered in Imperial County. Testing is still an important tool to monitor the virus.
