(Vehicle fires reported Early Monday Morning)....The vehicle fires were reported within minutes of each other.

Both incidents involved Big Rigs. The first incident was reported at 6:12 in the morning on northbound Highway 86, just south of Allen Road. When the California Highway Patrol arrived on scene, the rig was fully engulfed in flames. Brawley police and Westmorland Fire also responded. Very few detailks have been released. The second incident was reported at 6:23 Monday morning. A Big Rig was burning on Westbound Interstate 8, east of Hi9ghway 186. The California Highway Patrol says this fire spread to brush along the Interstate. County Fire responded to the incident. The Big Rig was a complete loss. There are few details in both incidents as investigations are continui9ng.
