(Next week is Fire Prevention Week)...It is an annual national event.

The County Board of Supervisors declared the local participation by proclaiming the special week at their meeting this week. The theme for this year's campaign is Learn The Sounbds of Fire Safety. During the week agencies and departments will work to educate everyone about the different sounbds the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms make. Local Departments traditionally host educational events to promote fire safety.
