(Body found Wednesday morning)....City workers found the body in a vacant building.

The work crew had gone to a vacant building in the 300 block of Cesar Chavez Boulevard in Calexico Wednesday morning. After making the discovery, the workers called 911. Calexico Police arrived and confirmed there was a dead person in the building. The officers called the County Coroners Office. Officials said it appeared the person had been dead for a while. An investigation was initiated and no other details were available.
