The numbers are provided by the County Public Health Department. According to the new numbers, there are now 370 active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County. That is up slightly from the previous report. The number of COVID positive patients hospitalized in the county is at 26, virtually unchanged from the previous report. 9 of those hospitalized are in Intensive Care. Deaths attributed to the virus are now at 755. The State Metrics for Imperial County indicated the positivity rate 7 day average is at 6%. The new cases per day per 100,000 population is at 17.20. The total number of COVID vaccine doses administered in Imperial County are now at 250,889.
