(New COVID numbers released)...They were released Tuesday morning.

The numbers are provided by the County Public Health Department. According to the new numbers, there has not been many changes since the last report was issued last week. Active cases of COVID 19 are at 285. An increase of just five from the report issued last week. Of those, 27 are hospitalized, unchanged from the last report. 9 of the hospitalized are in Intensive Care, the same amount that was reported last week. The State Tier Metrics for Imperial County have changed. The Positivity Rate, 7 day average is down to 7%. The New Cases Per Day Per 100,000 population is at 16. COVID vaccines are still available. At last report the total vaccine doses administered in Imperial County are just over 246,000.
