U. S. Border Patrol agents rescued 11 undocumented individuals over the weekend.

There were a total of 5 separate incidents that occurred between Friday after noon and Monday morning. All 11 were lost in the Jacumba Wilderness Area west of Ocotillo. All of the individuals were said to be in distress but none required hospitalization. The undocumented individuals will be processed accordingly. Since October of 2021 a total of 267 individuals lost or in distress have been successfully rescued by Border Patrol agents.
