(Over 30 pounds of meth seizeed)....It happened Friday morning.

The suspect drove a pick-up up to the Highway 86 checkpoint. The Border Patrol agent working the inspection lane referred the pick-up to the secondary inspection area, after a Border Patrol k-9 alerted to the vehicle. Agents searched the vehicle and discovered 30 bundles wrapped in brown tape. The bundles were found in two toolboxes. The white crystal like substance in the bundles tested positive for methamphetamine. The bundles weighed over 30 pounds, with an estimated value of $83,270. The driver, a lawful permanent resident of the US, thye vehyicle and narcotics were all turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administ6ration.
