(Calexico Woman suffers fatal injuries)....She was in a two vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon.

The woman has been identified as 25 year Fernanda Miramontes Martinez of Calexico. She was driving a Jeep Compass that collided with a Ford F-250 Tuesday afternoon at Dogwood and Willoughby Roads. Both vehicles landed in the Central Main Canal. The driver of the pick-up suffered a laceration to his hand. The California Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
