(Haystacks Burn)....The fires were encountered Wednesday night.

They are located next to Eastbound Interstate 8, at Westside Road. County Fire says, unless the fires start to spread, they are going to let the fires burn themselves out. They say that could take days. For years it has been a policy at the County Fire Department concerning haystack fires. Unless the fires are threatening structures or anything else, it is best to let them burn themselves out. The cause of the haystack fires will be investigated.
