(County Residents continue to vaccinate)....The total number of COVID 19 vaccine doses administered in Imperial County are now at 217,480.
That is about 1,000 more than what was previously reported. Health officials say vaccination is still the best defense against the virus and the variants., Vaccinations are now available, with no appointment necessary. Imperial County has scheduled a series of Community Vaccine Clinics at 2895 South 4th Street in El Centro, through the month of August. The clinics are open from 8:30 am to 12 noon and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. They are being held today and throughout the next month. During August the community clincs are scheduled for August 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 and August 31. Walk ins are welcome and no appointment is needed. Vaccinations are also available at Clinicas De Salud, private care givers, and pharmacies. Youy can still go to myturn.ca.gov to find out where else vaccines are available.
